Courtney Eckersley is a design director based in Atlanta, Georgia. After earning a MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York, Courtney designed publications, food packaging, and restaurant branding for Louise Fili Ltd. She went on to become the Art Director of Food & Wine, leading a team of designers, freelancers, and production staff to create the brand’s magazines, digital editions, and books. From 2018 to 2021, she helped launch a creative department for the new Atlanta area offices of real estate start up Compass, going on to lead a team of East Coast designers. There she created and oversaw work ranging from brand identities for agents and properties to nationwide campaigns.
She now works with a variety of clients on projects ranging from branding and event design to publication design and art direction. In addition, she partners with Rogers Eckersley Design on special projects for PBS/WNET and Civic Entertainment Group.
